"Wow $13.80 for Nasi Goreng, that only gives you half a prawn and not many chicken pieces... Pretty much got some flavoured rice just heated up on the wok... Poor customer service as well... Lucky I was hungry, so the meal was edible to say the least... And I guess the other reviews was right about this place...

"This place keeps a whole lot of fish in a tank out in the window. The tank is barren and a horrible place to keep an animal. The fish look on the verge of death. This is animal cruelty

"DON'T go here. The worst service I ever had. Took them 45 minutes to bring one soup , even though there were no customers just few people. Soup and food is not fresh. Drinks are over sweetened like the worst taro drink u can buy is here. Terrible shameful service. Customer service is abominable. The staff does not speak English at all just node and make mistakes when they charge you

"Prices have increased steadily over the past few years and portions have decreased very slightly. Other than that, the food is delicious and still great value for money. I love their beef rendang and, unlike most other restaurants, they don't pad it out with onions or other cheap vegetables. The main, with rice separate, is always plenty enough for three people. Having compared Kampung Story with other restaurants in the area, they are the number one choice for us.
